Clinical knowledge of children and families does not necessarily translate into knowledge about when and how to contact schools or how to work with them collaboratively. This workshop is designed to provide a framework and guidelines for doing so. We will review how therapists (and other clinicians) can come to understand the child and family in the school setting, and what we can do to foster a supportive child-family-school dynamic.

•  Utilize guidelines for participating in family-school meetings

This program is co-sponsored by the PSCP: The Psychology Network and Specialists of Schools. This workshop is free for members of SOS and PSCP: The Psychology Network. There is a $15.00 admission fee for others. CE credits and Act 48 credits are $30.00 each. CANCELLATION POLICY:

You are holding a spot so reservations for this workshop are non-refundable. If you cancel at least 48 hours before the event, you will be issued a credit (minus a $10 transaction fee) to use for another SOS workshop within the year.
