• Ethical Practice with Diverse Clients
    October 15, 2021
    11:30 am - 2:30 pm

These are challenging times.  The COVID-19 pandemic, racial tensions, climate change, and political turmoil affect psychologists and our clients.  Knowing how to work successfully with clients who have diverse opinions as well as clients who represent ethnic, racial, cultural, and gender diverse identities is essential.  This workshop will focus on the ethical principles of autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, fidelity, and justice to provide a framework for responding to difficult situations.  This workshop will also involve the participants in the application of ethical decision making and participants are invited to discuss their own ethical dilemmas.
